Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ActivePulse Media ("LimeShape," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the LimeShape app and website (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: your email address, used to create an account and sign in via a one-time passcode.
• Profile information: body measurements and characteristics you provide (such as age, sex, height, weight, body fat percentage, and self-described body type), fitness level, and lifestyle habits (nutrition, exercise, sleep) you describe to the Service.
• Photos: if you choose to upload a photo to generate an AI character card, we process that photo as described in Section 3 below.
• Usage and device information: basic technical information such as browser type and general usage of the Service, to the extent collected by our hosting and infrastructure providers.
• Anonymous device identifier: if you use the free AI character-card trial without an account, we generate a random identifier stored on your device and send it to us solely to enforce the one-time limit on that free trial. It is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information, and is not used for any other purpose.

If you use the Service without creating an account, your profile and lifestyle information is stored only on your own device (in your browser's local storage, or your mobile device's equivalent storage) and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers, except for any photo you choose to upload for AI character card generation, which is processed as described below.

Health and sensitive information. Body measurements, body composition, fitness level, and photos are health-related or otherwise sensitive personal information under applicable law. You provide this information voluntarily and at your own discretion, and by entering it into the Service, you explicitly consent to its collection and processing for the purposes described in this Policy. You are never required to provide more detail than you are comfortable with — fields marked optional may be left blank — though doing so may make the Service's projections or character-card feature less accurate or unavailable.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including computing your illustrative body projections;
• Create and maintain your account, including signing you in via one-time passcode;
• Generate AI character-card images when you request them;
• Sync your profile and scenarios across your devices if you are a subscriber;
• Enforce the scenario and sharing limits associated with your plan;
• Communicate with you about the Service, including account and billing notices;
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

We do not use your profile, lifestyle, or photo data to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. Photos and AI Processing

If you upload a photo to generate a character card, it is transmitted to our third-party AI image-generation provider solely to produce the requested image. We do not retain the uploaded reference photo on our servers after the request completes. If you are using the Service without an account, the resulting generated images are kept only in your browser session and local device storage, under your control. If you are a subscriber, your generated images and scenario data may also be stored in our cloud database so they sync across your devices, subject to the data-deletion rules described in our Terms (Section 6) if your plan is later downgraded or cancelled.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on: your explicit consent, given by entering your information into the Service (for health and sensitive information such as body measurements and photos, and when you choose to upload a photo for AI processing); the performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service you signed up for); and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service, balanced against your rights. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting the relevant information from your profile or deleting your account, as described in Section 6.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the Service:

• Infrastructure and database providers (currently Supabase), for authentication, database storage, and file storage;
• AI image-generation providers (currently OpenAI), to generate character-card images from photos you upload;
• Future AI video-generation providers (planned, not yet active), for an optional paid turn-around video feature, if and when you choose to use it.

These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes, except as those providers' own terms may separately disclose for the specific request you make (for example, an AI provider's standard API processing terms).

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored only on your device (Free plan) remains there until you clear it yourself, such as by clearing your browser's site data or uninstalling the app — we have no copy to delete on our end. Data stored on our servers (subscribers) is retained for as long as your account remains active at that tier. If your plan is downgraded or your subscription lapses, the data-deletion rules in our Terms (Section 6) apply, which in some cases result in the permanent, irreversible deletion of scenarios or your entire cloud-stored account record. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us, as described in Section 8 below.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a limited set of cookies and browser/device local storage to operate the Service, described in our Cookie Policy.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@limeshape.app. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Note that exercising certain rights (for example, deleting your account) may have the same irreversible effects described in our Terms (Section 6).

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for, directed at, or designed for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this policy, contact us at support@limeshape.app so we can delete it.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including those provided by our infrastructure providers, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) for such transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice before they take effect.
